Plain answers about what this website collects.

What we collect

If you email us, we keep your email and what you wrote so we can reply.

If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address, the page you signed up on and, on some forms, your company and what you do. The list is shared with Machine Commerce, our agentic commerce arm, so one sign-up covers both.

When you visit the site we count page views: which page, the site you came from, your country and the kind of device. This uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Why

To answer you, to send the updates you asked for, and to see which pages people read so we can improve them. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Who handles it for us

Email runs on Google Workspace and the updates list on Kit. The site is hosted on Vercel, which also counts the page views, and its fonts load from Google Fonts. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Emails for as long as we are talking to you or working together. Your place on the updates list until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any update. Page-view counts are kept in aggregate.

Your choice

To see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, write to founders@generalmachines.ai. We reply within a few working days.
